AKC Fetch!
AKC Fetch is a pass-fail noncompetitive test where dogs retrieve a toy, bumper or ball from a designated distance. Dogs can earn titles in Fetch. The four levels of titles (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced and Retriever) assess the ability of the dog to retrieve under the handler’s direction. In the Advanced and Retriever levels, the dog must respond correctly to signals. There is also a memory component in Advanced and Retriever because a retrieving bumper or ball is dropped (or thrown) behind a blind where it cannot be seen.

Classes Offered
Novice Fetch
This class starts with an evaluation of your dog's skills, reviews the rules for the level and covers basic fetch skills needed. Dogs will learn to hold a stay under distraction (bumper or ball being thrown), take a line to the object and bring it back to hand. Dogs 15 months of age can compete in AKC Fetch. Class is open to dogs of any age. The 6-week session includes a practice test at the end of the session so you'll be ready to go qualify for your title. $100
SEMI-PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
We offer semi-private instruction for groups up to four dogs at a time a date that is convenient for you. All Semi-Private Instruction is in one-hour increments. Enroll for the instruction and a trainer will contact you directly to set a date and time. Class Fee: $80/hour

We offer private instruction at a time a date that is convenient for you. All Private Instruction is in one-hour increments. Enroll for the instruction and a trainer will contact you directly to set a date and time. Class Fee: $80/hour
Classes are kept small so we can individualize instruction to maximize your results (6-8 students).
