Canine Good Citizen Program

The Canine Good Citizen program was created by the American Kennel Club to help dogs and their owners learn more basic skills to help them navigate an increasingly demanding world. The program is open to any dog over 6 months of age, purebred and mixed breeds. Dogs learn and perform a series of skills to earn titles at that level. Having a CGC title on your dog can help you find housing, or decrease your homeowners or renters insurance. The program is a great way to get involved while increasing your dog’s confidence and enhancing your relationship with your furry friend.
