Sheriff's K9 Officer Evi

Evi is a four year old Belgian Malinois from Germany. She joined the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department in 2023 and works with her partner, Deputy Sheriff Walker Combs. Together they patrol El Dorado County keeping us safe from the bad guys! the "off the rack" patrol vests didn't fit her so a fundraiser was created to purchase a custom vest. 

WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE ORDERED EVI'S NEW CUSTOM PATROL VEST.

What happens next is the company that will build her vest sends her handler an adjustment/fitting vest. Walker will adjust that vest to make sure it fits correctly on Evi and then that vest goes back to the company and her vest will be made to those specifications. The process takes about a month but we're on our way. Photos of Evi in her new vest to follow.
